The space’s arrival disrupts the creatures’ routine, while the existence of the creatures themselves, remains a mystery to the gallery’s visitors. Their uncanny presence in an art space raises questions on contemporary art practice and the “power of the image” in today's context. The main goal of Greektopia is the attempt to bring together two dissimilar worlds and enact the monologue that develops between them.
