What We Do
performing arts
We organise and curate theatrical performances or participatory performative dialogues in public spaces, or spaces openly accessible to everyone. Sometimes we also perform ridiculous stuff critiquing the institutions and dominant discourses (also for the fun of it..)
education
Perceiving theater as a critical tool, with ungovernable characteristics, we encourage a more inclusive dialectical production of knowledge aiming to enhance intercultural listening and acceptance.
research
Performing practice-based research by collaborating with higher education, ReCoBe endeavours to act as an "in-between" space for academia and the general public.
network building
We form relationships with national and international networks in order to advocate alternative methodologies of cultural labor in theatre and performance, aiming on "bottom-up" production models.
We are trying to gain an understanding of the people. We fail again, we fail better..
